After graduating in Fashion & Design in 2000, Justine Arbuthnot joined Kelsey Tailoring and launched her first womenswear range.
In 2002 she moved on to the prestigious Savile Row, working as one of the few female tailors at the time. Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Orlando Bloom, Ioan Gruffudd, David Beckham and Marilyn Manson are just a handful of the celebrities Justine has tailored for, whilst also working on various promotional and photographic projects.
With a growing passion for styling and customising clothing, 2008 saw the launch of Minni's Closet – a brand that has the ability of bringing the past to the present with unique customised vintage pieces.
Every garment in the collection is a one-off piece of treasure, making every woman feel special, individual and giving the peace of mind that no-one else will be seen in the same outfit.
Successfully mixing classic styles with modern trends, there is something for everyone in this eclectic collection. Cute tops with shoulder pads, romantic dresses adorned with perspex swallows and mesh flowers. There are no rules at this cool new label so don’t be surprised to find an array of sequins splashed with paint, silks rocked up with studs and structured jackets softened with fringing.
Minni's Closet is quickly generating a celebrity following, including Fearne Cotton and Rihanna.
