Little Shilpa
Multi-faceted artisan Little Shilpa could coin the phrase 'Shilpa by name, Shilpa by nature' (Shilpa meaning "sculpture".)
The Indian designer's individually crafted, sculptural pieces defy conventional definition and her multi-media approach to headwear (ceramic headpieces with in-built lighting for example) blurs the boundaries between fashion and art.
Having previously apprenticed with master milliner Philip Treacy, Shilpa fuses a very modern, technologically aware approach with influences from her Indian upbringing and background resulting in singularly unique pieces.
